What is ‘Recently Deleted’ Feature?

Instagram photos, videos, IGTV videos, and reels that you want to delete will be removed from your profile and moved to the Recently Deleted folder.

Those deleted posts will be in the Recently Deleted folder for 30 days and automatically deleted after 30 days.

Within those 30 days, you can recover your deleted posts from Recently Deleted folder.

If you want to permanently delete your posts, you need to delete them from your recently deleted folder.

If you cannot locate this “Recently Deleted” folder on your Instagram app, you need to update your app to the latest version.
